We have summarized important information about the production of our fur products for you. With this we want to show you the process and the fairness behind our products as transparent as possible. Animal welfare and the environment are as important to us as the quality of our products. Accordingly, the requirements for our partners & suppliers are very high. We ensure that the fur comes from countries with animal welfare laws and that animal welfare standards are always met. 

A delivery of mulesing-free wool is a matter of course for us. The sheep come from Australia and are kept under the Animal Welfare Act. The fur is a by-product of the meat industry after responsible sourcing. As part of our sustainability work, we are always in collaboration with LWG-certified producers and tanneries. The Leather Working Group (LWG) is a non-profit organization responsible for the world's leading environmental certification of the leather industry. Since 2005, the LWG has identified environmental best practices in the industry and established guidelines for continuous improvement. The LWG audit protocol is used to assess the environmental performance of leather manufacturers. Animal welfare is very important to us. To this end, our producers always have their own trained personnel who supervise, inspect and verify processing at their suppliers. The process is carried out by adhering to strict internal guidelines developed in accordance with the Australian Standard for Animal Welfare, EU legislation and those of our suppliers.

1. the animals always have access to fresh water, food and a healthy diet.  
2. the environment is adequately and comfortably furnished including a resting area.
3. the animals are regularly medically examined so that they can be quickly diagnosed and                treated in case of pain.
4. sufficient space is provided so that they can be in the company of conspecifics and enjoy a            normal atmosphere.
